In conjunction with our Psychometric partner in Canada (PsychTests Inc.), we developed an assessment which is specifically directed to Form 5, 6 and University students of the Caribbean.  Each of the recommended careers will show the required University subjects which should be taken for your recommended careers.  That means…no more guess work, uncertainty and stress when it comes time for you to choose your programme and subjects for University!  This is exciting news because nothing of its kind has ever been done before, and no Psychometric assessment of its kind exists in the entire Caribbean region!

How does it work?

• Step 1: The student completes the appropriate online Psychometric Assessment VoSCA-SU from any computer or tablet with internet access. On completion, our Assessment Centre will automatically generate a 45-page PDF report which will consist of a list of 10 to 30 careers that fit your Career Interests, Intelligence Types, Work Styles and Values. Each of the recommended careers will show the required University subjects, which should be taken in order to achieve your chosen career(s) in the future.

• Step 2: You can then meet with one of our Career and Life Coaches for one or more Career Coaching sessions to discuss the results of the VoSCA-SU report, and narrow down your choice of careers which you would like to pursue in the future. It’s as easy as that!

Typically, your shortlist should consist of 5 to 8 careers of interest. The careers on your shortlist should fit into the orange cube in the diagram shown to the left.

This assessment and the Career Coaching session would give you a head start in choosing the right career(s) and associated University subjects. It would also be much easier for you to complete your academic life which will now be more aligned to your values, intelligence and personality.

Below is a sample of one of the recommended careers from a student’s report.  You can see the level of detail shown for each career, especially the education level needed, the day-to-day tasks, the subjects needed, and the growth potential for this career over the next 10 years (circled in red):
