- Jeanette's E-mail address is jeanettemouttet@gmail.com - Jeanette is currently 49 years old, is married and has four children. - Jeanette is a practicing member of the Opus Dei and takes her faith very seriously, which I commended her for. - She shared with me that she has dyslexia, but has been able to work with it throughout her career life in various capacities related to teaching. - When she left Providence Girls Catholic School, she studied Montessori for a year in England, and then returned to Trinidad where she worked for six years at the Ecce Learning Centre in Woodbrook. - She then worked at Dun Ross Primary School for two years, and shortly thereafter, got married and started her family. - When she got back into the workforce, she worked in the field of personal development at St. Joseph's Convent, Port of Spain. - Jeanette then taught at Arbour and Rosewood Schools for six years but left because she was burnt out. - Jeanette seems to lean more toward a career in the field of cooking with a creative flair. She also likes retail and interacting with people, and she also wants to make money at whatever career path she chooses from this point on in her life. - I then discussed the results of the VoSCA assessment with Jeanette, specifically her scores in the various categories of Interests, Intelligence Types, Values, and Work Styles. Action Plan from Session #1: - Jeanette agreed to review the VoSCA report in more detail. - Jeanette also agreed to research on the Internet using the O*Net Online Career Research Tool (www.onetonline.org) the recommended careers above which she scored 6 or more out of 10, and document her research in this password-protected blog under the section at the end called "Leave a Reply".
